Project period: 01/2023 – 12/2023
The project is focused on rehabilitation and reconditioning exercises outside one’s own social environment, which is supplemented by other leisure and social activities, e.g. walks, social games. Rehabilitation off-sites are important in the rehabilitation of people after brain damage. They complement the long-term, targeted rehabilitation of both cognitive and physical functions, which contributes to increasing the quality of life and self-sufficiency of people after brain damage. At the same time, rehabilitation off-sites have a relaxing and supportive effect on family members who take care of these disabled people and who themselves have health and social problems due to such excessive and long-term mental and physical stress. During reconditioning off-sites with caregivers, it offers space for relaxation, social contacts and interests, and thus increases their readiness and motivation to provide this care in the following period. The program touches on all problematic areas of people with brain injury, namely limitations in the area of physical, cognitive, social and mental functions. The exercises that the participants learn during the rehabilitation stay can also be applied at home. In addition to the therapeutic and preventive effect, rehabilitation for the participants also has an educational character.

Project period: 01/2023 – 12/2023
The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of people with acquired brain damage through regular educational and rehabilitation activities, supporting the improvement of their physical and psychological condition and breaking down social isolation. It is aimed at supporting and developing the cognitive, executive, physical and communication skills of people with acquired brain damage and their families, helping to solve their health, mental and social needs. Long-term intensive rehabilitation is an important part of achieving and maintaining progress. Conventional health services cannot sufficiently fulfill these requirements, and in addition to the acquired limitations, difficulties of a secondary nature caused by previous inactivity are associated. The project therefore reacts to this situation, which has additionally worsened due to repeated isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and provides comprehensive services leading to the restoration and development of damaged functions, including the education necessary to prevent secondary complications.
Project period: 1/2022 – 12/2022
The goal of the project consists in providing a community rehabilitation program for people after acquired brain damage (brain injuries, strokes, brain tumors and others) and was focused in particular on the support and development of cognitive, executive, physical and communication skills of people after acquired brain damage, solving for the needs and problems of these people with the aim of improving their health, mental and social situation.
Project period: 1/2022 – 12/2022
The Ergotherapy and Physiotherapy project for people after brain damage in their own social environment deals with the comprehensive rehabilitation of people after brain damage in their home or social environment through the services of an occupational therapist and a physiotherapist so that clients are enabled to achieve the highest possible degree of self-sufficiency in their daily activities. This is especially important in cases where the client is unable to go to a medical facility or does not have sufficient family support. The therapy program is designed to enable the performance of daily activities and adaptation in the environment in which the person lives, works and socialises. Examples include skill training and the use of compensatory aids that facilitate self-care activities, reduce environmental barriers.
Project period: 1/2022 – 12/2022
The project is focused on rehabilitation and reconditioning exercises outside one’s own social environment, which is supplemented by other leisure and social activities, e.g. walks, social games. The rehabilitation stay follows year-round rehabilitation programs for people after brain damage. The rehabilitation stay has a positive effect on social contacts in the group of participants and develops their skills in the preparation and organization of activities. In this way, they improve functions and abilities that are often impaired by brain injury. The goal of the rehabilitation off-sites is not to provide passive therapeutic care, but active involvement of clients and, in particular, rehabilitation of damaged components. Under the guidance of the therapist, clients participate in the preparation of all activities according to their abilities.
