Membership

How to become a member?

Any person with brain damage, their family members or caregivers can become a member of the Association for free. Of course, any other natural or legal person can also become a member, in these cases a one-time fee of CZK 300 is paid.

If you want to become a member of the Association, download the application form HERE. After filling out and signing, please send to info@cerebrum2007.cz or by post to our address: Křižíkova 56/75A, Karlín, 186 00 Praha 8.

Membership is subject to approval by the Association’s Board of Directors and is unlimited in time. More information about the Association’s mission and membership is contained in our Statutes.

 

Help, advice, opinions and experiences with life after acquired brain injury

Membership in Cerebrum is an opportunity to get information and be a part of what happens around people with acquired brain damage. At the same time, it is important that people who have personal experience with the consequences of acquired brain damage actively assert their rights and communicate their needs with professionals and public administration so that the care system gradually improves.

 

Benefits for brain injury professionals

Membership in the Association can also be a benefit for experts or other interested professionals who are interested in what is happening in the field of treatment and rehabilitation, or in the latest research results in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of consequences after a stroke, brain injury or other type of brain damage. They can also contribute to the mission of the Association with their erudition and experience.

 

 

You want to participate in the development of the Association and its direction

Membership also gives you access to internal events within the association. You will be informed about all our events, you will receive news from our negotiations with institutions such as the Patient Council of the Ministry of Health, the Government Office and others. Membership also gives you the opportunity to actively participate in the events of the Association, e.g. through your personal participation in members’ meetings and also through decision-making within the Association’s bodies.
