By providing a wide range self-help activities in our community center, we aim to function as a safe meeting space for people with acquired brain damage, their families and friends – bringing together those who have the same or similar experiences with this handicap and can thus share experiences and exchange information among one another.
We are a meeting space for people who expect mutual help and support. By providing group activities, we help our members spend quality free time and share the joys and worries of everyday life. Members get help for themselves from other members, but by participating in the group, they also help other members – going off the principle “when I can help someone, I feel useful and better able to manage my own situation”.
